Thank you for the invitation to speak today at this important congress; it is a pleasure to be here.
I would like to begin today by acknowledging the traditional owners on whose land we meet and pay my respect to their elders both past and present.
I’d also like to importantly acknowledge all the volunteers in the room who across the state of Victoria, support the serving men and women who have served this country, but also, importantly making sure that our communities commemorate those who have made sacrifices for us.
