SUBJECT/S: 279,000 families worse off under governments childcare package
LABOR CANDIDATE FOR BENNELONG, KRISTINA KENEALLY: I would like to welcome the Shadow Minister for Early Education and Child Development to the Bennelong electorate, Amanda Rishworth.She is a good friend, she’s energetic and she knows the sector well. She is here today with me as we highlight the fact that the Federal Liberal Government’s changes to childcare, scheduled to come in July of next year, are going to see some 279,000 families in Australia worse off and that includes families in Bennelong. In fact Bennelong is not listed on the Turnbull government’s own list of electorates where families are going to be better off.
