It has been a year since the Defence Force Ombudsman’s (DFO) role was expanded to include an abuse reporting function and a further six months since the Turnbull Government announced the DFO will also expand to include a reparation payment.
However, frustratingly for those involved little detail about this reparation payment is known leaving many apprehensive of the expanded DFO process.
