LAURA JAYES: Today Labor has announced a plan to get veterans back to work, hoping to provide greater support for defence personnel as they transition to civilian life. Labor say it will commit $121m to help veterans into jobs and do more to boost recognition of their skills and experience. Currently best estimates have veterans’ unemployment at 30 percent, joining me now is the Shadow Veterans’ Affairs Minister, Amanda Rishworth, Amanda thank you so much for your time.
