DAVID LIPSON: I’m joined now by the Shadow Assistant Higher Education Minister, Amanda Rishworth. Thank you for your time this morning. Labor has already indicated that it would not be supportive, at a federal level at least, of a five per cent rise in the GST. But if there was compensation, if it addressed things like bracket creep, why not follow what has been a very successful model in New Zealand?
