PATRICIA KARVELAS: Now to federal politics where there is also quite a lot of action, and there is big political news today with hospital funding to be handed over at this week’s COAG meeting. There are questions marks also over political donations and a new line drawn in the standoff over the ABCC. To thrash it out, there is the good, the bad and the parties’ intentions – the ugly perhaps – it’s my Tuesday political panel. Wyatt Roy is the Assistant Minister for Innovation and Amanda Rishworth is the Shadow Assistant Minister for Education and Higher Education. Thanks to both of you. As you know that story breaking on our watch about this hijacking so thank you for being patient, we will try and bring our listeners the most up to date news on that. Wyatt Roy, if I can begin with you; you’re a Government frontbencher. We know Malcolm Turnbull is willing to give some hospital funding to the states at COAG this week but now we are hearing that a funding proposal which is quite radical might be unveiled where states can actually raise their own income taxes. What can you tell us?
